Neon lights

I had to create a neon signs for a tvc. a detailed one and not only glow :)
using Houdini to create an asset, is super satisfying for the artist while working with the director.

The setup is fully procedural from bolts ,electric thread etc...
it lacks a bit of details on macro level.but for my needs it was great

In the holiday season, i wanted to test my setup on a small fun project with cgi
so i grabbed my cam went to our christmas tree, i took some videos ,3d tracking and matchmoving on nuke.

Back in houdini i had to tweak my setup at sop level . to fit with the new typo.
i used redshift for rendering
